Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Webber. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire, organize, review, and distribute project submittals to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain and update plan drawings and revisions to reflect project progress.
  • Create and maintain all required project logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform material take-offs to ensure accurate estimates and pricing.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Calculate pricing and issue contracts and purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Schedule subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents to communicate project progress and status.
  • Present information effectively to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of related experience in project engineering or a related field.
  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating Primavera 3 and 6.
  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and utilize Construction Math concepts.
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Moderate physical activity performing daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
