Role Purpose The Civil Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in achieving project objectives. The primary responsibilities include Setting Goals, Strategic Planning, Effective Communication, Organization, Implementation, and Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Gather, organize, assess, and disseminate project submissions
  2. Maintain updated Project Plans and Revisions
  3. Develop and oversee all necessary Project Logs
  4. Conduct Material Take-Offs
  5. Engage with clients and owner representatives
  6. Calculate costs and prepare contracts and purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers
  7. Coordinate subcontractor activities and supplier material deliveries
  8. Ensure a well-organized workspace while managing multiple projects concurrently
  9. Draft reports, business correspondence, and project documentation
  10. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, customers, and team members
  11. Interpret documents such as safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals
  12. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Preference will be given to candidates with three or more years of relevant experience as detailed in this job description
  3. Proficient in Primavera 3 and 6
  4. Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  5. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  6. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts and utilize Construction Math principles
  7. Valid driver's license for occasional travel as required
  8. Capability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions
  9. Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage both abstract and concrete variables
  10. Moderate physical activity involving somewhat strenuous daily tasks primarily of an administrative nature. Some exposure to outdoor conditions may occur
  11. Ability to navigate minor obstacles at construction sites
  12. Manual dexterity sufficient for handling items and performing tasks with the fingers
