About the Role

Depave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization's strategic initiatives, manage staff, and work closely with our board of directors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective collaboration and communication to support our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our strategic plan, aligning with our long-term goals and objectives.
  • Manage our finances, develop budgets, and lead fundraising efforts to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Build and maintain strong community partnerships, representing the organization publicly and enhancing its impact and visibility.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and organizational practices.
Requirements
  • At least five years of progressively responsible management experience with a strong track record of developing and executing strategies for growth.
  • Experience with environmental justice work, cultural competence with communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis, and demonstrated experience advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • At least three years of fund development, fundraising, and/or other revenue-generating experience, with familiarity with local and regional private and public funding sources.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and culturally proficient communication skills, with experience and comfort with public speaking.
