RF Test Engineer I/II

About the RoleThe RF Test Engineer I/II will be responsible for testing radio frequency components and systems used to support satellites. This role requires a strong understanding of RF test and measurement principles, as well as experience with test planning, conduct, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design test setups and develop test scripts to automate tests
- Develop test plans and procedures, and seek input from RF engineers as necessary
- Arrange and purchase test equipment and components as needed
- Conduct testing, post-process test data, and develop test reports
- Train and support production technicians, and seek input from RF engineers as necessary
- 4-year Engineering degree in Electronics, Communications, RF, or other technical discipline
- Working knowledge of common RF components and their general RF performance characteristics
- Solid theoretical understanding of RF test and measurement principles
- 2+ years' experience across all aspects of RF device/system testing
- Highly proficient in using RF test and measurement equipment, such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and spectrum analyzer
- Experience developing test scripts and automated test setups
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
