LOA/Disability Case Manager Specialist

The LOA/Disability Case Manager Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the administration of Short-term Disability and FMLA plans. This role requires a strong understanding of health and welfare benefits, disability management, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provides a timely and thorough review of Short-term Disability, FMLA, and ADA claims and makes professional determinations
- Manages the workflow for a large number of claims to ensure equitable workload distribution and administering of claims within department standards
- Provides advocacy case management to all appropriate LOA claims
- Manages high impact LOA claims to identify obstacles and opportunities for returning associates to work
- Works with medical providers, LOA clinic resources, managers, and Local HR to determine return to work expectations and facilitate the return to work process
- Requires a BA degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in health and welfare benefits, disability management, HR operations, and/or benefits administration
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
- Experience working through the ADA process end-to-end is preferred
- Workday and ServiceNow experience are preferred
