Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Accounting Manager or Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee a variety of accounting and tax-related functions. This role presents an opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibilities as the organization expands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the accounting department, including management of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Regularly reconcile the general ledger with each account's statements.
  • Assist in quarterly financial closing processes and prepare financial statements.
  • Support the audit process and the preparation of quarterly financial reports.
  • Make journal or ledger entries as required.
  • Establish and uphold appropriate accounting practices and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and the accounting team, facilitating communication with external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and financial institutions.
  • Manage the company's federal and state tax return schedules in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Review tax returns prepared by external accountants to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve tax-related issues for the company.
  • Assist in the preparation for IPO and listing procedures on the KOSDAQ Market.
  • Support reporting requirements for the Korean SEC.
  • Engage in special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Several years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Skills & Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP; experience with K-IFRS and K-SOX is advantageous.
  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks (minimum of 3 years of experience) and MS Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High standards of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially in multitasking environments.
  • Fluency in both Korean and English, written and spoken.
