Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our Central Sterilization Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care by preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment using various methods and techniques
- Assemble and prepare instrument trays and sets according to established protocols
- Document all activities related to instrument decontamination, assembly, and sterilization
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient processing
- Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT) is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months experience in a hospital or clinical setting may be considered in lieu of education requirement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
