Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist PRN to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound, applying sound energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedure.
  • Participate in providing patient-specific care standards as directed, and follow service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in a patient-care related field.
  • One year of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
