Responsibilities
  • Perform all assigned diagnostic ultrasound exams in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patient care
  • Assume responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance
  • Consistently produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric
  • Complete required documentation on forms, logs, and in computer
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
