Job Overview

Position Title: Mixologist

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Food & Beverage Management

Compensation: $12.00 per hour plus gratuities

Position Summary

The Mixologist is tasked with preparing and serving beverages in a designated bar area, ensuring a high-quality experience for guests. This role encompasses service in various locations, including our pre-cocktail lounge and pub, and requires effective communication with management and fellow staff regarding guest feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the bar area prior to opening.
  • Efficiently process drink orders for patrons and servers in a dynamic setting.
  • Familiarize oneself with the beverage menu offered in the dining area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace throughout the shift.
  • Execute closing tasks, including restocking supplies, cleaning the bar area, and performing floor maintenance.
  • Relay any guest inquiries, special requests, or feedback to the Food & Beverage Manager on duty.
  • Acquire knowledge to set up, operate, and clean all bar venues within the organization.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of bartending experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
