Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at David Dodge LLC. This full-time position is essential for managing customer payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Recording and reconciling daily service and parts receipts, including credit card transactions.
  • Processing all incoming payments from vehicle sales, warranties, and other sources, ensuring accurate updates to the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Scanning and organizing all cash receipt documentation, including deposits and bank statements.
  • Preparing and filing necessary forms, such as 8300, for cash deposits when applicable.
  • Generating monthly accounts receivable statements and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Handling daily credit card transactions and addressing chargebacks or returns as needed.
  • Providing support for the office manager by pulling original vehicle invoices and managing trade payoffs.
  • Responding to inquiries related to accounts receivable and updating customer account information accordingly.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive holdback list and assisting with vehicle data entry as directed.
  • Reporting sold units through the factory system and ensuring accurate delivery records.
  • Posting fuel credits and reconciling the fuel schedule on a daily basis.
  • Training colleagues for cross-functional support and filling in for other administrative roles as required.
  • Participating in special projects and maintaining a professional work environment.
