Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive hourly rate.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to collect outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
- Resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and send out invoices and account statements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in collections or a similar role.
- Must have business collections experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in finance or accounting is a plus.
