Pay Rate: $20 - $23 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Collections Specialist to join our client’s team in Mason, Ohio. This is an on-site, 1st shift position offering a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to collect outstanding payments.

  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.

  • Resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

  • Prepare and send out invoices and account statements.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to address customer issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in collections or a similar role.

  • Must have business collections experience.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in finance or accounting is a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
