About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economic Services Supervisor to join our team at the State of Vermont. As a key member of our Economic Services Division, you will play a critical role in leading our team of Benefits Program Specialists and Case Managers in providing essential economic benefits to Vermonters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Benefits Program Specialists and Case Managers in providing economic benefits to Vermonters.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective delivery of economic benefits.
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in a related field, or an associate's degree and three years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and one year of experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising a team of professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
