Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Emergency Medicine team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations, to identify and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, students, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the District of Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Ability to lift, stand, and walk for long periods, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
