We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Taxation Services Manager to enhance our growing public accounting practice. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in tax oversight and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all tax-related operations, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review intricate tax filings, including individual, S-corporation, C-corporation, and partnership returns.
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research and strategic planning to optimize tax outcomes.
  • Formulate and execute effective tax strategies and policies that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Provide expert tax advisory support to senior management, offering insights and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to address all tax-related matters efficiently.
  • Stay updated on the latest tax legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant and leverages potential tax advantages.
  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in tax management, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Profound understanding of tax accounting, compliance, and various tax return types.
  • Strong background in tax research and planning, with a proven track record of optimizing tax liabilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, with experience in mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • A strong commitment to professionalism and integrity, with the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
