Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our public accounting team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in tax oversight and management, playing a crucial role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all tax-related functions, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
2. Prepare and evaluate intricate tax filings, including individual, S-corporation, C-corporation, and partnership returns.
3. Conduct comprehensive tax research and strategizing to reduce tax obligations and optimize profitability.
4. Formulate and execute effective tax strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
5. Provide expert tax advisory services to senior leadership, offering insights and risk management strategies.
6. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to address tax-related matters efficiently.
7. Stay updated on the latest tax legislation, ensuring compliance and identifying potential tax advantages.
8. Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax management, ideally within the financial sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various tax returns.
- Proven experience in tax research and planning, with a focus on minimizing tax liabilities.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a history of cultivating high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex tax concepts to non-financial professionals.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A commitment to integrity and professionalism, with the ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
