We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Tax Compliance Director to enhance our dynamic public accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tax oversight and management. This position will entail supervising all tax-related functions within the organization while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations. The Tax Compliance Director will be instrumental in reducing tax obligations and optimizing profitability, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

- Prepare and review intricate tax filings, including individual returns, S-corporations, C-corporations, and partnership returns.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research and strategic planning to minimize tax burdens and enhance profitability.

- Provide expert tax advisory services to senior management, offering insights, recommendations, and risk management strategies.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax management, ideally within the finance sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various tax return types.
- Strong background in tax research and planning, with a proven ability to reduce tax liabilities and enhance profitability.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a history of developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to convey complex tax concepts to non-financial professionals.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A strong commitment to integrity and professionalism, with a proven ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
