Overview
The City of East Providence, RI is seeking a part-time Recreation Staff to work with special needs youth and young adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting developmentally and physically delayed participants in recreation programs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with children and make a positive impact in the community.

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Recreation Staff. As a Recreation Staff, you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating athletic and artistic activities, chaperoning field trips and special events, and assisting participants as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining safety, order, and discipline at all times.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist developmentally and physically delayed participants in recreation programs
- Implement and coordinate athletic and artistic activities
- Chaperone field trips and special events
- Assist participants as needed
- Maintain safety, order, and discipline at all times

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Some experience in supervising youth
- High school senior or entering your senior year in the fall
- Any experience working with special needs youth is a plus

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $13.50 per hour. We do not offer benefits.
