In your role as the Supervisor of Environmental Services, your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the assigned facilities.
  • Leading departmental functions and resources in the absence of a manager.
  • Assisting management with administrative tasks such as time records, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and approving leave requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising staff in daily operations and assessing performance.
  • Ensuring adequate coverage across shifts.
  • Coordinating orientation, training, and educational opportunities.
  • Enhancing operational procedures and processes.
  • Analyzing workflows and recommending improvements.
  • Providing insights to boost departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Filling in for staff as needed during vacancies.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree may substitute for experience.
  • One year of experience in a leadership role or supervisory capacity in a related field.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, operate office equipment, and communicate effectively. The role requires full-body motion, including lifting, bending, and reaching. Regular handling of cleaning agents and chemicals is necessary.

Personal Protective Equipment:
