Key Responsibilities


As a
Guest Services Operations Supervisor, you will oversee team members in the Front Office and Food & Beverage Departments, executing supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant regulations.

Your responsibilities will encompass recruiting, onboarding, and training staff; organizing, delegating, and monitoring tasks; evaluating performance; recognizing and addressing issues; and resolving guest concerns.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Delegating tasks and shifts to team members while monitoring performance to ensure compliance with hotel policies and established procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to cash handling and key control protocols.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding hotel policies and services.
  • Participating in staff meetings to review company policies and guest feedback, and proposing enhancements to service and operational efficiency.
  • Performing Front Desk and Food & Beverage tasks as necessary.
  • Maintaining food quality and service standards for Food & Beverage and meeting room events.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Providing guests with information about available services and hotel hours.
  • Facilitating effective departmental communication through logs, daily briefings, and monthly meetings.
  • Ensuring all brand standards and initiatives are implemented and adhered to.
  • Conducting various administrative tasks, including forecasting room occupancy, managing departmental budgets, analyzing service trends using guest satisfaction data, processing payroll, maintaining accurate inventory records, and overseeing accounting and purchasing functions.
  • Keeping up-to-date records and files.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the Front Office, lobby, and surrounding areas.
  • Assisting in inspecting all fixtures, equipment, and conditions (lighting, music, temperature control, furniture, decor, etc.) for proper operation and maintenance, and reporting any deficiencies.


Qualifications


We are in search of a proactive
Guest Services Operations Supervisor with a strong work ethic and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.


Specific qualifications include:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in guest services, front desk operations, or a related field.
  • An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service and team management abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
