As a Lead Teacher in Infant Care, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of educators to create classroom objectives and plans, while facilitating engaging activities tailored to the children's interests and developmental needs.
  • Maintaining open communication with families, documenting and sharing significant milestones in each child's daily experience.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean learning environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Applicants must successfully complete required background checks and meet the minimum educational and experiential criteria set by state regulations and the company:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of twelve semester units in Child Development, including essential courses in Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum (Required).
  • Three units in Early Childhood Education focusing on Infant and Toddler Development (Required).
  • An AA or BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Transcripts will be required upon hiring.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required.

Compensation: $26.50 per hour.

The compensation range provided reflects what Bright Horizons anticipates offering for this position. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
