Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Child Development Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive and comprehensive educational program.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to children, addressing their unique needs and abilities.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Current/Valid California Commission on Teaching Credentialing - Teacher Permit.
  • 2 years of experience working with preschool-age children.
  • 6 months of supervised field experience in an early childhood setting.
  • 6 months of experience working with infants and toddlers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
