About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements
  • A current state RN license and an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, with the ability to obtain within 90 and 6 months, respectively.
  • NIHSS Certification, obtained within 90 days of hire date.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
