Project Manager

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring project site security and compliance with safety procedures, supporting the Project Superintendent in documenting and implementing best management practices, and participating in preconstruction and project startup activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project site security and compliance with safety procedures in line with OSHA and company guidelines.
- Support the Project Superintendent in documenting and implementing best management practices and any changes.
- Participate in preconstruction and project startup activities.
- Assist the Project Superintendent and Project Manager with verifying installations, scheduling manpower and materials, and ensuring timely arrivals to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and project requirements.
- Provide daily reporting and documentation of project activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze information effectively.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, respond promptly to customer needs, and meet service commitments.
- Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability in handling changing work environments, managing competing demands, and responding to delays or unexpected events.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper equipment usage.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Must be willing to travel.
