Position Title: Comfort Advisor / Project Manager - Residential HVAC Sales

Position Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the achievement of Good Life Brands, LLC's strategic goals and annual targets by delivering outstanding service and support that aligns with the company's vision, mission, purpose, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive customer experience.
  • Follow up on sales leads generated through various channels, including technicians and self-generated lists.
  • Educate both new and existing clients about service offerings using the company's Sales System.
  • Propose solutions that address customer objections while highlighting total value and competitive advantages.
  • Exhibit technical proficiency and maintain a high level of credibility.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' homes, including comfort surveys, engineering analyses, and load calculations.
  • Effectively draft and present proposals.
  • Address any customer resistance, negotiate value, and successfully close sales.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly for all leads.
  • Prepare financing documentation and manage payment collections.
  • Adhere to performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Be accessible by phone at all times, except during scheduled vacations.
  • Engage in all company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues at all times.
  • Present a professional image by wearing company-approved attire.
  • Comply with all performance and ethical standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry equipment, field concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and equipment.
  • Prior experience in service agreement sales and estimating is advantageous.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Able to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be approved to drive by the company's insurance carrier.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work primarily in an office environment with local travel.
  • Engage in activities such as climbing, lifting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.
  • Occasionally lift items weighing 5-10 pounds.
  • Ability to work under stress, including potential verbal and/or physical confrontations.
  • Good visual acuity for close, distance, and peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, nights, or weekends as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all private, sensitive, and proprietary business matters.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through continued training.
  • Be prepared to work outside of normal hours when necessary.
