Account Executive, Sr. Commercial Print Specialist

About the Role

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list.

This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Novi, MI, allowing you to effectively execute your job responsibilities.

Your Impact

You will develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision-makers, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.

Reporting customer activity to management, you will identify customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.

You will develop strategic plans to address customer requirements on a local basis, including short-term and long-term goals.

Providing marketing, technical, and administrative support to internal departments, you will ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity.

You will develop plans to introduce and place Canon technology, service, software, and 3rd party solutions to address customer requirements.

Establishing high-level relationships with customers will enhance long-term working partnerships.

New market share will be gained through strategic prospecting and meeting customer requirements using all available resources efficiently.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, plus 5 years of related experience.

Experience in office technology, business-to-business, and outside sales is essential.

Strong communication skills, including building solid working relationships, are necessary.

An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry is a must.

Autonomy and excellent time management skills are required.

Some travel within the local market may be required, including overnights (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
