Job Summary:
As a Cook Supervisor, you will directly oversee food service associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor team members; plan, assign, and direct work tasks; evaluate performance; recognize and address issues.
- Communicate purchasing needs to management, focusing on minimizing waste and preventing shortages.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment according to departmental guidelines after each use.
- Store, label, and date food items in accordance with company policy; ensure proper food rotation to reduce spoilage.
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines to guarantee the quality and safety of food supplies.
- Operate food service equipment safely and in line with established policies and procedures.
- Assist in meal service and remain available during scheduled meal times to gather customer feedback.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
