Job Description

Safran Electrical & Power is a world leader in Aerospace electrical systems, providing innovative solutions for electric power generation, distribution, and conversion systems.

Our mission is to drive the electrical evolution of the aviation industry through aircraft equipment electrification and electric and hybrid-electric propulsion.

This role is part of our Sarasota, Florida business unit, which has developed expertise in electrical power distribution systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to maximize market share and ensure profitable growth.
  • Contribute to product research and technology roadmap activities by capturing customer feedback on future needs.
  • Maintain market awareness and monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to develop markets, gain customer base, and achieve business objectives.
Customer Relationship Development and Maintenance
  • Coordinate responses to requests for quotations and negotiate commercial and contractual conditions.
  • Ensure the booking plan aligns with the sales plan and provide accurate and timely demand forecasts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, booking, aging accounts, and win/loss ratios.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and key strategic partners.
  • Generate new sales opportunities and review sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans.
Team Management
  • Manage and direct the local Sales team, including recruitment, performance management, and development to achieve Company goals and objectives.
Continuous Improvement and Teamwork
  • Conduct ongoing actions to improve processes within areas of responsibility.
  • Propose improvements and collaborate with the team to share ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments regarding product innovation demand.
  • Assist coworkers in solving problems and participate in team training activities as required.
