Position Overview
We are continuously seeking adaptable substitute educators to join our on-call roster. If you are interested in the role of a Substitute Teacher at Guidepost Montessori, this position will involve supporting various mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No prior Montessori experience is required, as we will offer comprehensive training during your orientation and onboarding process.

Compensation
$17-23/hourly

Job Nature
This is an on-call role where you will be contacted as needed to provide coverage for full-time educators who are unavailable due to illness or vacation.

The Substitute Teacher position serves as an excellent entry point into Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes eventually transition into full-time Assistant Teacher roles when new opportunities arise. Work Schedule
Hours and days of work will vary based on the school's requirements.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Recent negative TB test
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with young children aged 0-6
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
