Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician II to provide distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support for our registered pharmacists. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will be responsible for processing medication orders, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes medication orders, including computer order entry, medication preparation, and assembling all items prior to pharmacist final check.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and supplies according to established policies and procedures, including inspection of assigned areas and use of pharmacy computer systems.
• Provides customer service by taking patient prescriptions and documenting all required information, handles all customer interactions in a courteous and efficient manner, and releases medications required by policy/procedure.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ExCPT Pharmacy Technician - National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or 1 year equivalent experience in lieu of formal training program.
• Preferred: 1 year of pharmacy experience in respective area.
