Responsibilities:


Under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all guest accommodations and common areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies.
2. Conduct thorough inspections of all checkout rooms to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
3. Guarantee that all guest rooms are prepared for occupancy promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
4. Inspect guest access areas (such as corridors and stairwells) to confirm proper cleaning and upkeep.
5. Foster the development of team members' skills through education, training, and coaching.
6. Oversee and maintain the deep cleaning program.

Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of any concerns.

Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise, and retain team members who exemplify the Company's Mission and Values, including Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication.

Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management of any observations of illegal acts or ethical violations.

Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within your area of responsibility.
Promote positive guest relations at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with two (2) years of housekeeping experience in a similar hotel environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year of supervisory experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred.


Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The casino environment is fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy. Employees may be exposed to environmental factors such as secondhand smoke and excessive noise.

Effective communication with guests in English is essential for this role.
