  • Work with management to plan and manage budgets, payroll, and expenses
  • Schedule and create daily and weekly activity logs and task lists for maintenance and groundskeeping departments
  • Manage department schedules, with a focus on minimizing overtime
  • Maintain and uphold company standards and expectations
  • Supervise work performed by property vendors to ensure completion
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts, and order as needed
  • Supervise staff to ensure common areas are clean and free from debris
  • Supervise trash pick-up of all common areas and property
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
  • Report deficiencies and repair needs around the property
  • Promote a safe working environment by observing all relevant safety rules, standards, and precautions
  • Collaborate with other departments to prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for social or business functions
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair, and replacement maintenance or handy-work
  • Experience in supervising team members
  • Ability to drive for work purposes, as needed
  • Ability to react and address emergency situations in a timely manner
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide professional written reports and make recommendations to the Property Manager and Client
