Position Summary:
We are in search of a passionate and experienced Culinary Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our culinary team. In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations and collaborate with a talented group of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment. We seek an individual with a strong enthusiasm for gastronomy, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a knack for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Demonstrate a successful background in culinary arts while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of culinary staff, ensuring all dishes meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage inventory and food costs effectively.
  • Develop and introduce new menu items.
  • Train and mentor culinary team members.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of cooking techniques applicable to both a la carte and banquet services, while effectively managing tasks in both planned and unexpected scenarios. Your influence will enhance the team's efficiency and positively impact the cleanliness, organization, and overall health of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food and beverage sector.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of wine and gourmet food is advantageous.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Possession of a Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both the public and fellow team members.
