We are in search of skilled Radio Frequency Test Technicians who thrive in a collaborative manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing products utilizing both discrete and automated testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing issues down to the component level using schematics and discrete testing tools.
- Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Conducting manual tests with equipment such as DMMs, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Operating automated testing stations and assessing product performance.
- Evaluating unit performance against established specifications.
- Providing technical updates on product performance and troubleshooting test equipment and stations.
- Performing minor mechanical assembly and disassembly during the troubleshooting process.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with precision soldering techniques.
- Knowledge of microstrip stub tuning.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to work within established safety and quality standards.
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Technical School, Military Equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Proficient in reading and understanding schematic drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Test Procedures, and rework documents.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong understanding of RF Microwave Technology.
- Willingness to work outside of standard working hours.
- Operational knowledge of Manufacturing/Workmanship Standards.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Shift: Day Shift -- approximately 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
