Job Overview

Position: RF Technician

We are in search of skilled Radio Frequency Test Technicians to work in a collaborative manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing products utilizing both discrete and automated testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues down to the component level using schematics and discrete testing tools.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Conduct manual testing with tools such as DMM, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Operate automated testing stations and assess product performance.
  • Evaluate unit performance against established specifications.
  • Provide updates on product performance and troubleshoot testing equipment and stations.
  • Perform minor mechanical assembly and disassembly during troubleshooting.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with precision soldering techniques.
  • Knowledge of microstrip stub tuning.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Adhere to established safety and quality standards.
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics, Technical School, Military Equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to read and understand schematic drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Test Procedures, and rework documents.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of RF Microwave Technology.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard hours as needed.
  • Operational knowledge of Manufacturing/Workmanship Standards.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Shift: Day Shift - approximately 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
