Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Caregiver

We are seeking a skilled and caring Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Caregiver to join our team in the Washington, DC area.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position also offers a range of benefits, including competitive salary, opportunities for professional growth and development, and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities and RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be able to:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Run errands and provide companionship to individuals
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- MEDICATION TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, administer medications, and document dosages and times
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
