About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Education Coordinator Lead to join our team at YesCare. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and education.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that involves supervising staff on assigned shifts to ensure patient care is provided according to established procedures. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing programs to align with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff on assigned shifts to ensure patient care is provided according to established procedures.
  • Identify and develop programs to align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions.
  • Work with the vendor pharmacy to resolve issues and maintain ordering of par levels of stock medications and sharps according to company guidelines.
  • Provide patient educational materials on medications, diagnosis, treatment, and specialty devices as needed.
  • Collaborate with social services, parole, and community entities to facilitate appropriate placement of patients based on medical needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide necessary supplies according to company standards.
  • Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Current RN license in the state.
  • At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or critical care.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $ $63,500 - $83,400, depending on experience and qualifications.
