About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Testing Technician to join our team at Laboratory Testing Inc. in Hatfield, PA. As a Mechanical Testing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our mechanical testing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of mechanical tests on material samples, including tensile, elevated tensile, stress rupture, hardness, and charpy tests.
  • Set up and operate testing equipment, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Analyze and document test results, consulting with supervisors as necessary to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain test equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repair as required.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety rules and regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • No prior experience required, but six months to one year of related experience and/or training is desired.
  • Computer skills required, including proficiency in LabMan System, Enterprise Resource Planning System, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
