Thread Roller/Machinist

B&G Manufacturing, a leading custom-high-strength fastener and precision parts manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Thread Roller/Machinist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand engineering prints/specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC controlled thread rollers to produce high-quality parts.
  • Verify parts comply with specifications using measuring devices.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Thread Roller/Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality parts. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work well in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience setting up and operating thread rollers is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering prints/technical drawings and measure part features using micrometers, calipers, and other basic hand gages.
  • Experience working with stainless, carbon steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotic materials is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate math and analytical skills.
  • Team player with ability to work well in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 45 pounds.
