Housing Coordinator Supervisor

About the Role:
The Vancouver Housing Authority is seeking a skilled Housing Coordinator Supervisor to lead our team in providing housing solutions to individuals in need. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing a team of Housing Specialists and Coordinators, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to effectively serve our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Housing Specialists and Coordinators to provide high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with community partners to advance our mission and goals.
- Ensure compliance with funding and grant requirements.
- Represent the agency at community meetings and events.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working with low-income and homeless populations.
- Proven supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lived experience as someone who is low-income, homeless, or in recovery.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
