Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Eyman facility. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and route visitors and inquiries to the appropriate staff members
  • Utilize Microsoft Office to perform various administrative tasks
  • Transmit correspondence and medical records via mail, email, or fax
  • Perform bookkeeping duties, including preparation of expense reports and maintenance of petty cash and receipts
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, credentialing, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire documentation
  • Process offsite referrals, appointments, patient registrations, and transport requests
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • One year of clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Minimum two years of college preferred
  • A valid CPR card or equivalent
