Job Overview

Bonnie Jones Associates, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Attorney Development Coordinator to join their team. This role will provide support to the overall Attorney Development function, ensuring seamless coordination of attorney new hire processes, transfers, and departures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret and follow instructions. A minimum of three years of development and/or program coordination experience in a professional services environment is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate attorney new hire process, including Workday actions, personnel files preparations, and onboarding trainings.
  • Coordinate transfer and departure process, including Workday actions, communications, and preparations for departures.
  • Coordinate attorney leaves of absence, including DC Paid Family Leave and related attorney communications.
  • Coordinate bar admissions, annual bar renewals, and related reporting.
  • Respond to attorney employment verification requests.
  • Provide coordination and support for attorney evaluations, including compiling data in preparation for review meetings and ensuring timely completion of evaluations and reviews.
  • Maintain department files, central index of attorney personnel files, records, and calendars.
  • Serve as a resource to attorneys in the DC office.
  • Coordinate and support overall department needs with special projects.
  • Collaborate with Attorney Recruiting team on overlapping projects and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
