Job Title: Conflicts Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Conflicts Attorney to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience at a mid-sized to large law firm and will be responsible for providing support to the Firm's Office of General Counsel, Compliance Officer, and Conflicts and New Business Intake Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on conflicts of interest, ethics, and professional responsibilities.
  • Work with non-attorney conflict staff to identify, analyze, and resolve ethical and business conflicts issues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and draft engagement and waiver terms.
  • Advising on ethical wall memoranda and ensuring enforcement of same.
  • Experience using intake and conflicts products to perform conflicts checks.
  • Perform legal research and analysis relating to conflicts or other matters pertaining to ethics and/or professional responsibility.
  • Draft and present memoranda and presentations on recent developments in conflicts law.
  • Review and recommend revisions to outside counsel guidelines and other terms.
  • Complete special projects under the direction of the Managing Director of Conflicts and New Business Intake and/or the Office of General Counsel.
Requirements:
  • J.D. required.
  • 2+ years of experience at a mid-sized to large law firm (preferably multinational).
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent client service.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the Firm's and clients' affairs.
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
