The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding outcomes. Some key aspects of this position include:
  • • Providing expert guidance on medication use, dosage, side effects, and contraindications to healthcare teams and patients/families.
    • Collaborating with clinicians to develop and optimize treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs, medical history, and co-morbidities.
    • Analyzing patient data, identifying trends and patterns, and using insights to inform policy changes, process improvements, and educational initiatives.
    • Engaging with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of emerging treatments, new technologies, and best practices in pediatric pharmacotherapy, thereby enhancing the overall quality of care provided by our organization.


To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, you should possess the following attributes:
  • • A Ph.D in Pharmacy from an accredited institution, supplemented by 1+ year of experience in pediatric clinical pharmacy or a closely related field.
    • An active Texas Pharmacist license and Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, along with IV therapy training (or willingness to obtain these credentials).
    • Expertise in pediatric pharmacology, disease state management, and treatment guidelines, coupled with proficiency in utilizing electronic health records systems and other relevant software applications.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and coordination of complex projects.
