Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Williamsburg Landing Inc. As a key member of our Dining Services Department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including meats, vegetables, soups, and desserts, following standardized recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and participate in the cleaning of cooking areas and equipment, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with menu planning and preparation, ensuring that all meals meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a Culinary Arts degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a large production kitchen, preferably serving individuals with various dietary needs and preferences.
  • A Food Handlers' Card and SERVSAFE certification are required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
