Sous Chef Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
