Your Next Role

We are in search of a full-time Head of Procurement. This individual will be tasked with managing the procurement operations for the region, which includes overseeing vertical construction budgeting and estimating, coordinating the entire bidding process, facilitating communication with field trades, and ensuring that quality benchmarks are upheld throughout the development of each new community.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Distributing, receiving, evaluating, and comparing completed bid submissions for all vertical construction trades.
  • Executing and managing construction agreements for all vertical construction trades.
  • Maintaining relationships with current trade partners while actively seeking new vendor opportunities.
  • Continuously identifying potential cost reductions and enhancing processes throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Projecting precise budgets and timelines for all vertical construction trades.
  • Acting as the primary liaison within the Procurement Department for Construction, Sales, and trade partners regarding ongoing construction initiatives.
  • Leading educational efforts for both internal and external stakeholders on all products and processes related to vertical construction.

Qualifications for the Head of Procurement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the Construction Industry, with proficiency in builder software; experience with MarkSystems is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
