Generation Hope is a leading organization dedicated to empowering teen parents to achieve academic success. We are seeking an experienced Scholar Program Lead to join our dynamic team.

About the Position

This full-time role (40 hours/week) reports directly to the Director of DC Programming. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing effective programs to support scholar success, addressing scholar/sponsor relationship issues, and developing targeted strategies to engage diverse student populations.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Collaborate with the Director of DC Programming to create innovative programming that enhances scholar engagement and supports their academic journey.
  • Work closely with the program team to troubleshoot issues within scholar/sponsor relationships and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and execute strategies to serve specific student populations, such as student fathers, DACA students, and first-generation college students.
  • Ensure that scholars receive high-quality training by collaborating with program staff and the Events Manager to plan in-service training and the Summer Bridge program.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of federal and school-specific financial aid policies and procedures to provide expert guidance to staff and scholars.
  • Support Generation Hope mentors by assessing their experiences and providing regular feedback opportunities.
**Management and Leadership**
  • Supervise and support up to five Scholar Program Coordinators, including regular one-on-one meetings and monthly supervisions.
  • Collaborate with coordinators to develop and update individualized academic plans, setting clear goals and strategies to support scholar success.
**Salary and Benefits**

$75,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits package, including 403(b), health, dental, and paid time off.
