Job Overview

The Waters is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and guests
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and sanitary environment
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service and quality standards
  • Meet organizational and regulatory expectations, including sanitation, food preparation, menus, nutrition, and documentation

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed
  • Knowledge of multiple cooking techniques and food control processes
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a cook/chef in a restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience preferred
